Season 17 of the Solomon Valley Farmer's Market will be held at the Lil' Red Schoolhouse Roadside Park on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

The Lil' Red Schoolhouse will be open during the Farmer's Market throughout the summer. Walk through to see a replica of a one-room schoolhouse from the early 1900's. A volunteer will be present to help answer questions. Tourism brochures and magazines are available for the taking.

The Mitchell County Fair will hold micro sprint races on Thursday, July 23 for antique racers, compacts, and minis. Grandstands open at 6 pm, races start at 7 pm.
