The Beloit Country Club will hold a 4th of July Tournament, 1-Couple Scramble. $120 and includes food, mulligans, hole-in-one entry and snacks. 9 am shotgun start. Text Steph Kadel at 785-738-8900 or Steph Meier at 785-738-8742 to sign up.

A Poker Scavenger Hunt will be held at Glen Elder State Park on Saturday, July 4 starting at 10 am. Registration is from 8-10 am at Glen Elder Marina. $20 first hand, $10 each additional hand. The hunt ends at noon. Biscuits and gravy will be served 7:30-9:30 am with free will donation.

Season 17 of the Solomon Valley Farmer's Market will be held at the Lil' Red Schoolhouse Roadside Park on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

The Lil' Red Schoolhouse will be open during the Farmer's Market throughout the summer. Walk through to see a replica of a one-room schoolhouse from the early 1900's. A volunteer will be present to help answer questions. Tourism brochures and magazines are available for the taking.
