A free impact concussion test for junior high and high school athletes will take place at Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems on Wednesday, August 5 from 1-4 pm. No appointment needed. Test will take around 30 minutes. For more information, contact Samantha McMillan at 785-738-9369.

Season 17 of the Solomon Valley Farmer's Market will be held at the Lil' Red Schoolhouse Roadside Park on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

The Lil' Red Schoolhouse will be open during the Farmer's Market throughout the summer. Walk through to see a replica of a one-room schoolhouse from the early 1900's. A volunteer will be present to help answer questions. Tourism brochures and magazines are available for the taking.
