Everyone is welcome at the June Community Coffee at the Mitchell County Health Department on Friday, June 19 at 9 am. Enjoy breakfast, coffee, and conversation as the health department will talk about their important work around the county!

On Friday, June 19 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Beloit Municipal Building, the Breast Friends Foundation will be holding a benefit lunch and bake sale for Boone Wildfong to help fight his battle with cancer. Tacos and nachos will be served. To go boxes are available.

On Saturday, June 20, a poker run will be held to benefit Steve Patton, who was in a devastating accident in November. It starts at 9:30 at Shanks Park in Simpson. $20 for a run, $30 for 2 runs, and $10 for an additional run. Call Cass at 785-534-2366 or Cody at 785-534-7269.

On Monday, June 22 from 4-9 pm, 15% of all food sold (dine-in, carry out, or delivery) at Beloit Pizza Hut will be donated to the Solomon Valley Hospice.

It's been one year since Bank of Tescott came to Beloit! They want to celebrate with you on Tuesday, June 23 with free sno cones and snacks inside the bank from 1-4!

Season 17 of the Solomon Valley Farmer's Market will be held at the Lil' Red Schoolhouse Roadside Park on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

The Lil' Red Schoolhouse will be open during the Farmer's Market throughout the summer. Walk through to see a replica of a one-room schoolhouse from the early 1900's. A volunteer will be present to help answer questions. Tourism brochures and magazines are available for the taking.
