Season 17 of the Solomon Valley Farmer's Market will be held at the Lil' Red Schoolhouse Roadside Park on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

The Lil' Red Schoolhouse will be open during the Farmer's Market throughout the summer. Walk through to see a replica of a one-room schoolhouse from the early 1900's. A volunteer will be present to help answer questions. Tourism brochures and magazines are available for the taking.

Cawker City Fitness Center introduces a new class, Strength for Life, taught by Barb Wise. It will be held on Tuesday and Thursdays in the summer, 7:20-8:20 am. Contact Barb at 785-545-8483 or barbwise@nckcn.com for more information or to sign up.
