The public is invited to visit the Trade Show of our Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge on Monday, March 10th from 11:30am to 12:45pm at the Solomon Valley Office Suites! 9 students will be showing off their businesses! The public will also have an opportunity to vote for their favorite business! We are awarding $1,750 in prizes and the winner goes to the state competition in April at KSU! This is always such a fun event!

The Mitchell County Childcare Coalition has launched a new Childcare Needs Assessment survey. This data will help us understand how best to address our childcare needs in Mitchell County. We want to hear from: Parents with Infants, Toddlers & School-Aged Children; Current & Potential Childcare Providers; Businesses; and anyone wanting to work on Childcare issues in Mitchell County! The survey will be open thru October 8, 2025. After results are compiled, we will host a community meeting to discuss the survey findings.
