Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or you’re planning your first visit, there’s always something new to discover in Mitchell County. Thanks to a new partnership with Driftscape, finding it just got a lot easier.

A Grant That Helps You Explore

Mitchell County Tourism was the recipient of a recent Solomon Valley Community Foundation grant, and it’s being put to work to help residents and travelers explore the county more easily.

Two Ways to Start Exploring

Starting today, you have two options:

• Visit our website: Head to discovermitchellcounty.com and find a map on the front page with pinpoints for all of the tourist destinations in the county.
• Download the app: Get Driftscape and take Mitchell County with you wherever you go.

Why Driftscape?

We partnered with Driftscape to bring more awareness to our tourism businesses and attractions, and to make the county easier and more fun to explore. With Driftscape, you can:

• Find attractions, restaurants, shops, and more
• Follow suggested itineraries and tours
• See upcoming events
• Participate in contests for prizes

Join the “Launch to Explore Mitchell County” Tour

To celebrate the launch, we’re hosting a special tour inside Driftscape, and everyone who takes part has a chance to win. Here’s how:

1. Download Driftscape or use from your browser
2. Get out and explore. Shop, dine, and visit businesses around the county.
3. Click “Enter Contest” from the business listing and upload two receipts from purchases made at Mitchell County businesses.
4. You’re entered to win!

Prizes add up to hundreds of dollars’ worth of Mitchell County business offerings, including gift certificates, gift baskets, local swag, and more. Every prize comes from a local business, so your purchases and your prize both stay right here in the county.

Your Adventure Starts Now

We’re grateful to the Solomon Valley Community Foundation for making this possible, and we can’t wait to see where your adventures take you. Visit discovermitchellcounty.com or download Driftscape today, and launch your Mitchell County adventure!
