Statue of Liberty – downtown square

The symbolic statue is the centerpiece of the park. Lady Liberty was donated to the city in 1950 by 
Emily Slaven.  ​Glen Elder’s American Legion and Auxiliary, Post #143, worked together 
to provide the funds for the base of the statue.
