A free impact concussion test for junior high and high school athletes will take place at Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems on Wednesday, August 5 from 1-4 pm. No appointment needed. Test will take around 30 minutes. For more information, contact Samantha McMillan at 785-738-9369.
Season 17 of the Solomon Valley Farmer's Market will be held at the Lil' Red Schoolhouse Roadside Park on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

On Saturday, August 8, the Hunter Fire Department will host a Hunter Fun Night, which includes food, DJ, and kids games on the tennis court on Main Street. A gun raffle fundraiser will also be announced at that time.
