Mitchell County Storm Spotter Training

Free
A Meteorologist, from the Hastings Office of the National Weather Service (NWS), will present the training.
The program provides severe weather training and education for everyone. Plan to spend two hours learning about storms and severe weather safety. This free program aims to teach the basics of thunderstorm development, weather safety, and effective reporting techniques.

This program is presented as a cooperative effort of the Mitchell County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service of Hastings.
