Saturday 7:30-9 am biscuits and gravy at the Marina. Boat poker run registration 10-11 am at the Marina. $25 for first hand, $10 for additional. Boat parade at 4 pm starting from Sandy Beach.
Food trucks start at 11 am at the Marina.
Sunday golf cart dice run, registration 3-4 pm at the Marina. $25 for 3 hands, $10 for 1. All proceeds benefit the Glen Elder Community Library.

The Mitchell County Childcare Coalition has launched a new Childcare Needs Assessment survey. This data will help us understand how best to address our childcare needs in Mitchell County. We want to hear from: Parents with Infants, Toddlers & School-Aged Children; Current & Potential Childcare Providers; Businesses; and anyone wanting to work on Childcare issues in Mitchell County! The survey will be open thru October 8, 2025. After results are compiled, we will host a community meeting to discuss the survey findings.
