Bank of Tescott will have coffee\, breakfast\, and other goodies to give away. While you are there\, pick up an angel from the Angel Tree to help a family in need this holiday season!\n\nThe Solomon Valley Community Foundation will also be there to give a short presentation about Match Month\, which kicks off November 1st!\n\nThe Angel Tree is sponsored by the Beloit Ministerial Association and will officially be available in the bank November 12. All gifts should be returned to the bank by December 7. Families participating are completely anonymous. Those wanting to provide gifts will choose boy or girl\, age range\, and a few “wish list” items from the child. Expect to pay around $75 per child\, but each wish list is different.\n\nOpen to the public!

DESCRIPTION:Open from Nov. 17 to Dec. 17 during regular hours and on Special open house dates Sunday Nov. 22 and Sunday\, Dec. 6 from 2pm to 4pm.When the Declaration of Independence was issued\, the idea that “all men are created equal” was revolutionary. With this seminal document\, the Founding Fathers unleashed an open-ended driving force that would shape modern history. Around the world\, other countries have declared independence taking the US Declaration of 1776 as a model.\nThis traveling exhibition uses primary sources to illustrate how Americans and people across the world have been inspired by the Declaration in their pursuit of equality and self-determination. A special exhibit panel on “Kansas” in 1776 is also included.
