Samantha will discuss opportunities for businesses to partner with the college\, including: Apprenticeship programs\, on-the-job training\, student academic sponsorship opportunities\, certificate programs\, and more.\nThen\, Mikey Hughes\, Regional Director for In-State Business Development with the Kansas Department of Commerce\, will present incentive programs available primarily to manufacturing businesses. These programs can provide valuable tax credits and other assistance for capital improvements\, equipment purchases\, and workforce training.\nThis is a FREE event. Lunch will be available for purchase at the Fort Hays Tech | NC Cafeteria when you arrive.\nThe first hour with Samathan Johnson is relevant to any business in Mitchell County.
